Lil Wayne‘s Welcome to Tha Carter Tour did not end on a high note.

The 40-year-old rapper rounded off his tour on Saturday (May 13) in Los Angeles. However, he cut the a dramatically Twist, seemingly due to a lack of energy from fans in the audience.

He reportedly began the a an hour after the scheduled start time and only performed for a half hour before handing over the stage to the other acts with him. Then he shocked the audience by calling things off entirely.

According to People, Lil Wayne returned to the stage to seemingly tell fans off before ending the a abruptly.

“We appreciate it, but we ain’t about to be bending over backwards for these folks. We work too hard for this s-it. We work way too hard,” he said. “This my motherf-cker’ artist Allan, that was Twist, that was Yaj. We are Young Money. We appreciate y’all time.”
